Ten minute journaling: Morning time

6.25 a.m. aaaaand go! The plan was to do five minute journaling right after fajr, watch the sky change colors, the birds come alive from their slumber.
But a delay due to household chores (mostly breakfast making for my early to rise mother and sister) brought me out on the roof when the sky is already lit; mostly blue and slightly yellow. My biggest fear right now is pigeon/crow poop falling-whoa a white pigeon just flapped by- on my breakfast before I devour it. Yes devour it; I'm so hungry right now. Last night's way-too-early-dinner with a soft drink has left me with a burning stomach which is begging for food. Yet I'm denying it myself in the name of five minute journaling. The sky has brush strokes of clouds spread across it. I just moved my phone screen out of the way to glance at my breakfast and found a fly encircling the rim of my cup of tea. How long has it been there? I shoo it off, dip the bread in the cup and take my first bite of the day. Its 6.30 already. Know what? I'll make that ten minute journaling. Since half the time I'm looking down to type in my phone. Four pigeons fly together from the yellow part of the sky to the blue part. I follow them with my eyes and watch the one in the rear get ahead of the others. Birds of a feather flock together. I think of us four siblings. Morning time is a loud affair. I hear roosters and a cat meowing in the distance. The continuous chirping of birds and the cawing of crows. A crow suddenly lands on the roof, its eyes on my morning meal. I finish it quickly lest it should attack me; remembering the strange time when once I was walking home and a couple of crows swept by really close to my head. Once done eating, I pretend to throw something at it in an attempt to make it fly away. It flinches yet stays there. I repeat and this time am successful. But it only flies away to another nearby post from where it watches me. Time to go back down. My time is up!
